Trumpeteers Monthly Meeting
The next meeting of the Republican Trumpeteers of Adams County will be held on October 1 at 11:30 am, at our usual location, City Buffet at 10695 Melody Drive in Northglenn.
We are very excited to have Victor Mitchell as our guest speaker. Mr. Mitchell will be discussing Proposition 103, a ballot issue introduced by Democratic State Senator Rollie Heath. Proposition 103 will raise the Colorado income taxes and state taxes and will threaten the Colorado economy by eliminating over 100,000 jobs. As we all know, without jobs, taxable income decreases. There is concern that Proposition 103 will send Colorado's economy into a further decline, at a time our state can ill afford to lose jobs and income.
Our president, Betty Jean Beall, encourages every member to attend and to bring at least two friends or neighbors to hear the important message Mr. Mitchell will be presenting. It is our responsibility as Republicans to provide this information to as many of our fellow Coloradans as we can, to spread the word to other Republican organizations, and most importantly, to attend this meeting so that we can accurately inform our friends and neighbors on why Proposition 103 is a bad idea for Colorado.
